Special Educational Needs Event in North of England

nasen, the UK's leading special educational needs organisation, is to host a dedicated SEN event in the North on England.
nasen Live 2010 has been designed to provide school leaders, teachers, SENCOs, NQTs, teaching assistants and local authority staff with the information, guidance, techniques and research to meet the needs of learners with SEN.
The event takes place from 26th to 27th May at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton and entrance is free.

nasen Live Highlights include:

  • 20 seminars over two action packed days including: Listening and responding to troubled children, Re-evaluating the role of the SENCO, Fighting ‘Word Poverty' and Implementing the Lamb recommendations.
  • Free CPD opportunities: a Becta sponsored Learning Zone, exhibitor demonstration area and SEN exhibition.
  • Thursday keynote speech from Professor Tanya Byron, clinician, journalist, author and broadcaster.
