Payroll Giving - (this will take you to the Inland Revenue information page)
This is another easy and tax-free way to give by making regular contributions directly from your pay slip. You can give donations on a weekly or monthly basis. Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll office before tax and sent to us - thereby increasing the value of your gift to us.
Gift Aid - (this will take you to the Inland Revenue information page)
Increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK tax payer, the government's Gift Aid scheme means your gift can increase in value by nearly a third at no extra cost to you. This would mean that a gift of £5 a month would actually be worth £6.40 a month to the Down's Syndrome Association.
If you would like us to claim back the tax on any donation you make then please make sure that you print off, sign and send in our printable Gift Aid Declaration form. There is now no minimum threshold for Gift Aid, this means that we can claim back the tax and boost the value of any gift you make.
Legacies
We are always very moved to hear that supporters and their families want to remember the DSA's support in this way. If you would like to know how to leave a donation to the DSA in your will, you can read more about legacies below.

How do I leave a donation in my will?
In the first instance, all that supporters need to know in order to leave a donation to the DSA in their will is the Down's Syndrome Association's contact details and charity number(1061474). This information should be given to the solicitor who is drafting your will.
Secondly, it is very helpful for the DSA to know if you have decided to leave a donation, and the details of that donation. The reason for this, is to keep track of your intended gift. Legacy gifts are valuable to any charity, but especially a charity like the DSA that wants to continue its services for people with Down's syndrome far into the future. Legacy donations show the commitment of our supporters to continue the work of the DSA even after they are no longer with us. This is a great testament to the DSA and to its members and supporters and lends weight to all our activities in particular lobbying for changes in attitudes and improvement in local services for people with Down's syndrome.
If it would be helpful, we can provide a letter for you to take to your solicitor. Email here to request such a letter which gives contact details for the Down's Syndrome Association.
We would like to thank all those supporters who have already incorporated such a gift into their will and all those who may be considering such a gift. If you would like any further information please call the fundraising team on 0845 230 0372 or email at paul.zanon@downs-syndrome.org.uk
