Payroll Giving
Visit HMRC's information page.
This is another easy and tax-free way to give by making regular contributions directly from your pay slip. You can give donations on a weekly or monthly basis. Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll office before tax and sent to us - thereby increasing the value of your gift to us. Click here for more information.
Gift Aid
Visit HMRC's information page.
Increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK tax payer, the government's Gift Aid scheme means your gift can increase in value by nearly a third at no extra cost to you. This would mean that a gift of £5 a month would actually be worth £6.40 a month to the Down's Syndrome Association.
If you would like us to claim back the tax on any donation you make then please make sure that you print off, sign and send in our printable Gift Aid Declaration form. There is now no minimum threshold for Gift Aid, this means that we can claim back the tax and boost the value of any gift you make.
Legacies
Leaving a gift in your will is simple and cost effective. You can leave a specific gift (such as stocks and shares, property, a coin collection etc), a monetary sum or a portion of your estate. Legacies in recent years have helped the DSA achieve financial goals we would have never dreamed of previously and in essence have kept the charity alive. Please help future generations of people with Down's syndrome and consider leaving a gift in your will. For further information on legacies, please email Paul Zanon This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call him on 0845 230 0372. Thank you.
