Working with the Government

2011 saw a flurry of activity from the government who have consulted with people about a range of issues to help them frame new policies.

The DSA has contributed to these discussions on behalf of people with Down's syndrome and submitted responses which can be found in the 2011 archive.

We continue to respond to relevant government consultations and will post our responses here through 2012.

The DSA has also been part of a group of charities The Personal Payment Implementation Development Group. The role of the Group is to help inform, design, develop and test delivery arrangements for the new benefit (PIP).
