Volunteering Opportunities

The Down's Syndrome Association Northern Ireland has a range of volunteer opportunities that help to support and create an environment where people with Down's syndrome can fulfil their full potential. These include:-

New Parents Weekend Volunteer

This volunteer opportunity involves looking after children under 18 months with Down's syndrome/ their siblings. This gives new parents the opportunity to meet other families and to attend relevant workshops.

These volunteer opportunities help young people to meet with their friends, to have a range of different experiences, and to build their skills and confidence in a fun and safe environment.

These opportunities enable volunteers to support children to meet with their peers, and to engage in fun and energizing activities.
